Mary L. Beyer

MONTESANO — Mary Louise Beyer, a resident of Aberdeen for the past several years, died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017, at Montesano Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was 71.

Mary Lou was raised in Seattle, attending Saint Benedict Catholic School and then earning her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Seattle University.

In 1967 she married William Beyer and he died in 1999.

While in high school, she began working for Pacific Northwest Bell as a switchboard operator and later retired from AT&T in 1998.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date. Inurnment will be held in the Holyrood Cemetery in Lakewood.

Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

James Pasic

MONTESANO — James A. Pasic died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017, at his home in Montesano. He was 83.

He had been an engineer for Boeing before coming to Montesano in 1964 and working for 30 years for Ovalstrapping.

Stanley Laaksonen

A celebration of life for Stanley M. Laaksonen, who died Nov. 21, 2016, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at the Aberdeen Elks. Lunch will be served.

Ernest E. Rowe

SEATTLE — Ernest Elmer Rowe, a lifelong Hoquiam resident and sportsman, died Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017, at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle.. He was 55.

There will be a celebration of his life at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29 in the Hoquiam Elks Lodge.

Marilyn J. Elway

Marilyn Jeannette Elway, a Cosmopolis resident and bookkeeper at Elway Plumbing in Aberdeen, died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017, at her home. She was 77.

There will be a celebration of her life at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27 in Fern Hill Funeral Home’s Chapel. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Fern Hill Cemetery, Aberdeen.
