The lecture co-sponsored by the college and the Grays Harbor Institute.

Pacific Lutheran University Nursing Professor Sharon Wallace will hold a discussion on the risks and hazards of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) Thursday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. in Room 4134 at Grays Harbor College.

The lecture is co-sponsored by the college and the Grays Harbor Institute.

A relatively new science, GMO’s create unstable combinations of plant, animal, bacterial and viral genes that do not normally occur in nature. Some of these techniques are used in food production.
