Registration open for Ocosta summer school

The Ocosta Summer Program runs July 9 to Aug. 3 and is free and open to Ocosta students in kindergarten through eighth grade.

The program runs Monday through Friday. Busing, breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks are provided. Students spend mornings focusing on reading and math skills and are in enrichment activities of their choice in the afternoon.

Field trips are planned for every Friday, including Mr. Lizard at the Westport Timberland Library, the Furford Cranberry Museum in Grayland, the Westport Maritime Museum, the Polson Museum in Hoquiam and a tour of the Westport Shipyard. There’s also swimming at the YMCA of Grays Harbor on Aug.2 and the family picnic and student showcase on Aug. 3.

Registration forms are available at school offices in the district.
