The August meeting of the Port of Grays Harbor Commission has been changed. The Commission will meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Satsop Business Park, 150 Technology Lane, in Elma.

At the meeting, which is in the first floor conference room, Phil Papac of Montesano will be be sworn in to replace Chuck Caldwell, who retired effictive July 31.

Papac will complete Caldwell’s District 1 term, which runs through November of 2019.

The seat is up for election next year.

“It was great to see so many candidates passionate about the Port and the future of Grays Harbor apply,” Commissioner Stan Pinnick said. “We are excited to welcome Mr. Papac to the Board and feel his commitment, experience and abilities will be an asset to the Port and our community.”
