Drug task force arrests six people in search warrant

The Grays Harbor Drug Task Force served a search warrant and arrested multiple people under suspicion of felony drug charges at a home in South Aberdeen on Thursday morning.

According to the Aberdeen Police Department, the arrests were made at a residence in the 700 Block of West Curtis Street.

A spokesperson from the task force informed officers that they located eight adults at the residence, two of whom were released and the other six were taken into custody on various charges.

One 55-year-old man is facing felony drug charges and had a previous outstanding felony warrant for two counts of identity theft from the Grays Harbor County Superior Court, the release states. Two other adults, a 34-year-old male and a 27-year-old female, are also facing felony drug charges stemming from the search warrant. The task force adds that this is an ongoing investigation.

The Aberdeen Police Department and the Grays Harbor Sheriff’s Office assisted in serving the warrant. Aberdeen Lt. Dale Green guessed there were at least nine law enforcement vehicles involved.
