Bridge inspections to close lanes on three Grays Harbor roads starting Monday

State routes 105, 107 and Highway 12 will be impacted

Bridge inspections will close traffic lanes on three Grays Harbor County roadways starting Monday, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

Bridge preservation engineers will conduct six regularly scheduled bridge inspections on Highway 12, State Route 105 and State Route 107. The bridges on 107 and 105 will be reduced to one alternating lane in each direction, and Highway 12 inspections will require one lane to be closed.

Highway 12 over State Route 107 in Montesano will have a single westbound lane closure from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, and a single eastbound right lane closure from noon to 3 p.m. that same day.

State Route 107 south of Montesano will be reduced to one-way alternating traffic with flaggers west of South Monte Road from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday. On Thursday, April 26, 107 will again be reduced to one lane from 7:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. just north of Old County Road.

State Route 105 south of Westport will reduce to one-way alternating traffic with flaggers east of Oyster Place from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday, April 23. At 11 a.m. Monday, the bridge north of Game Farm Road will be reduced to one lane until 3:30 p.m.

In the event of severe weather conditions, the inspections could be rescheduled.
