Tapping into kindness

Shifman says each month, his Ocean Shores pub designates one of more of its 16 taps to give a 50-cent donation for each glass poured to a different local nonprofit. June’s donation for Green Lantern amounted to nearly $350, which he says was the largest amount since the business opened last winter.
