I’m on a listserve for Washington Votes, which sends me all the bills proposed during the state legislative session.

It’s amazing how the Republicans continually introduce bills to limit government oversight, reduce protections in the workplace, the environment, our healthcare and other vital aspects of living in a civilized society but are fixated on the government oversight of women’s reproductive functions.

Newly elected 19th District Republican Rep. Jim Walsh fits right into the mold (literally and figuratively) and felt compelled to co-sponsor two bills restricting women’s right to choose (HB 1002 and 1003).

What is it with these men who are constantly interfering with what women do with their bodies?
