Disc golf tournament announced

The Bubba Mullikin Memorial Scholarship Disc Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, July 14 at Sam Benn Memorial Park in Aberdeen.

Registration for the event costs $30 and pre-registration is available at discgolfscene.com (type ‘Bubba’ in the search box).

Check-in time for the 18-hole tournament is 10 a.m. with play scheduled to begin at 11:30 p.m.

A 50/50 raffle will be held during the event and memorial t-shirts and discs will also be available for purchase.

All proceeds go toward the Bubba Mullikin Scholarship Fund.

Pogie Club Meeting

There will be a Pogie Club meeting at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Hoquiam Elks Lodge located at 624 K Street in Hoquiam.
