Montesano dominated the 1A Evergreen all-league awards, earning four top honors — including MVP and Coach of the Year — as the league announced its all-league team earlier this week.

Leading the way for the Bulldogs was senior post Paige Lisherness, who was named the league’s MVP this season.

It’s the second consecutive year Lisherness was named MVP after sharing the honors last season with Tenino center Ashley Schow.

Montesano’s Mark Mansfield was named the league’s Coach of the Year after guiding the Bulldogs to an undefeated league season and No. 4 state ranking.

Montesano junior forward McKynnlie Dalan and sophomore guard Mikalya Stanfield were both named to the league’s First Team.
