Aberdeen senior Christian Sanchez was honored with one of the 2A Evergreen’s top awards as the league announced its all-league team on Wednesday.
Sanchez, a defensive leader and co-captain for the Bobcats, was named the league’s top defensive player as he was voted Defensive Most Valuable Player by the league’s coaches.
In addition to Sanchez, a pair of Bobcats were also named to the league’s First Team. Senior midfielder Rigo Alavez and sophomore defender Angel Sanchez were named to the league’s top all-star squad.
Bobcats forward Hulizes Chavez, midfielder Romeo Sanchez and goalkeeper Luis Soto were named to the Second Team.
Aberdeen forward Enrique Cuevas and midfielder Antonio Torres were awarded with honorable mentions.
Tumwater senior Austin Mikesh was named the League MVP. Centralia’s Alex Alvarenga won the Offensive MVP award and the Coach of the Year honor went to Tumwater’s Brett Bartlett.
