Aberdeen beats Rochester for first win of season

Green, Harder lead Bobcats bolwers to 1324-1216 victory

Aberdeen got into the win column with a 1,324-1,216 victory over Rochester on Thursday at Fairway Lanes in Centralia.

The Bobcats (1-1 overall) won the first game 553-493, led by Sarah Harder’s 149 score.

Aberdeen lost Game 2 532-524 before winning both Baker games by scores of 104-82 and 143-109.

Aberdeen’s Cha’tara Green led all bowlers with a two-game series score of 279 (134, 145).

Harder was close behind with a 273 (149, 124).

Aberdeen will host Tumwater in the Bobcats home opener at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 20 at Rainier Lanes.
