Vernon C. Rask, longtime resident of Randle, Washington, died Aug, 9, 2021, in Olympia. He was 89 years old.

Vern was born Oct. 19, 1932, in Rural Heston, North Dakota to Floyd and Luella Rask.

He married Mildred Weisenburger on Feb. 01, 1953, in North Dakota. After moving to Washington, he worked in the logging industry and as a heavy machine mechanic. He loved to read and watch baseball. He loved to do crossword puzzles and loved working with his flowers in his green house. Most of all he loved his family.

Vern is survived by one daughter, Victoria Hamrick, of Shelton: and two sons Marshall Rask of Shelton, Montie Rask & wife Gina of Olympia. Along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Vern was preceded in death by three children, Mikey, Jeffrey and most recently Mitcheal Rask of Menlo and wife Mildred.

Graveside service will be held Monday, Aug. 16, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements are in care of Stoller’s Mortuary.
