One of Heaven’s special children, Verity Blessing Evensen, 16, passed away at her home in the Wishkah Valley on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018. Verity was born Jan. 26, 2001, in Federal Way, Wash.

Verity was in the 11th grade at Wishkah Valley School. She attended River of Life Fellowship in Aberdeen with her family and was involved with Challenger Baseball.

She is survived by her loving parents Derek and Rachelle (Love) Evensen; four brothers Isaac, Josiah, Micah and Gideon and three sisters Gracie, SarahJoy and Hosanna Evensen all of the family home, paternal grandparents, Dale and Julie Evensen of the Wishkah Valley and maternal grandparents, Jan and Doris Van Hoven of Colville, Wash., as well as many adoring aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, William Love, and her great-grandmother, Joanna White.

A celebration of her life is planned for 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 13, at River of Life Fellowship in Aberdeen.
