Her family had resided in Wisconsin, California and Leavenworth, Wash., prior to coming to Hoquiam, where she had attended Lincoln Grade School, Central Grade School, Hoquiam Junior High School and Hoquiam High School. Growing up she was involved in gymnastics, enjoyed going to the movies, helping around the family home with the chores and baby sitting and “mothering” her sisters.

Rose had worked at the Swanson’s South Side Restaurant, Boulevard Lunch, packed shingles at Simpson’s in Aberdeen and was a nurse’s aide at Pacific Care Center in Hoquiam.

Twenty-one years ago she was married to Gregg Sapp in Montesano and they then made their home in Hoquiam. This was one of the memorable times of her life.

Rose enjoyed the “Holidays” with her kids, and will long be remembered for being a wife, mother, grandmother and best friend.

Rosemary is survived by her husband, Gregg Sapp of the Hoquiam family home; two sons, Nathan Sapp of Aberdeen and Josh Beckley of Sioux Falls, S.D.; one daughter, Chrystal Beckley of Aberdeen; two sisters, Bonita Ballard of Tumwater and Linda Putt of Rochester; five grandchildren, Tyson, Jake, Stevie, Joie and Breonna; one great-grandson, Landon, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Rose was preceded in death by a sister, Cindy Lou and her parents, Pauline Puckett and Clifford Puckett.

A celebration of her life will be from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, at the Aberdeen Presbyterian Church, 420 North Broadway.
