Rick was a very sick individual with no blame going to himself. After having lived with schizophrenia for the last 35-40 years, Rickard Carl Winberg was finally able to find some peace in his life that ended on 12-18-2023. Struggling all these years; to be a good son and brother, Rick had some good moments, and not so good moments.

No one would know him better, than his own brother.

At times he only seemed to be doing OK, and at other times not so well. In and out of mental hospitals did take a toll. Schizophrenia is a disease and terrible sickness that tells the person they don’t have a disease or a sickness. It is an illness of volatility and unpredictability for the person having it and unfortunately for everyone around the person.

Anyone who is familiar with the illness will tell you this.

The confusion and chaos in his mind, caused by Ricks mental illness, is what Rick struggled with the last 30-40 years. But now on 12-18-23 it finally came to an end.

Now; my brother Rick— the struggle is finally over. RIP.
