Reginald Ernest (Ernie) Sandberg, 50, of Montesano passed away at his home on Sunday, Aug. 1, 2021. Ernie was born Aug. 26, 1970, in Brunswick, Maine to Reginald I. and Linda (Elderkin) Sandberg. In 1972 the family moved to Montesano, Washington. He graduated from Montesano High School in 1989.

On July 25, 1998, Ernie married Linda Park in Montesano. She passed away April 27, 2007.

Ernie had worked at Hoquiam Plywood for many years. He was baptized at Grace Assembly Church in Aberdeen.

Ernie enjoyed fishing, hunting and ATV riding in his spare time.

He is survived by his mother, Lynn Brown of Casa Grande, Arizona; two brothers, Tim (Serena) Sandberg of Shelton, Washington and Kevin (Deaun) Sandberg of Montesano, Washington and three step-children and five step-grandchildren.

A graveside inurnment will take place at Satsop Cemetery.
