Paulette Fleenor, 72, of Seymour, Indiana passed away at her home on June 27, 2021. She was born Aug. 17, 1948, in Ottawa, Illinois to Orville Edward and Florence Jackson Fleenor. She came to Indiana at the age of 17 and then moved to McCleary, Washington where she spent the next 19 years before returning to Indiana. She worked as a bartender for the VFW and the Knights of Columbus and worked in the cafeteria at Schneck Medical Center for five years before retiring.

Paulette loved life. She enjoyed crocheting, gambling, farm animals, camping and especially her grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her jokes and making people laugh. She was a member of Cornerstone Community Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, son Jeffery Nolan, her brothers, James and Eugene Fleenor and her stepfather Chester White.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her children: Cindi Edwards, Melissa (Sid) Dunno and John (Karla) Polley, her sister, Wanda Brogan (Woody Chandler), her brother Mike (Lisa) Fleenor, daughter-in-law Jennifer Nolan, nine grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Cornerstone Community Church, 1088 Sarasota Drive, Seymour, Indiana with Pastor Johnnie Spivey officiating. Memorials may be given in Paulette’s memory through Burkholder Chapel to Red Sky Rescue. Arrangements entrusted to Burkholder Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes, 419 N.
