Patricia Raiden (Pierce) Spears of Brady, Washington passed away on May 21, 2023, losing her battle with cancer.

Patty was born in Elma, Washington in April 1952, to Helen and George Pierce. She attended Satsop, Washington and Tooele, Utah schools.

In 1970 she married Walt Spears. They had two children, Philip and Jeff. Later they divorced. She met Jim Barnum in 1993 and spent the rest of her living days with Jim in their Brady home.

Patty worked at Tooele Utah Army Depot, AAA of Aberdeen, Aberdeen video store, Red Lion Hotel and Hoquiam Licensing. She was a member of the Aberdeen JC’s and a member of the postcard club. She loved showing off the postcards she received around-the-world. She enjoyed going to concerts and plays, bowling, bingo, playing games with the family and collecting lighthouse items and visiting lighthouses.

Patty is survived by her partner Jim Barnum (his children Eric Barnum and family, and daughter Norma Carter and family); her son Philip Spears and daughter-in-law Joley; her son Jeff Spears and daughter-in-law Marion; granddaughter Olivia, and grandson Tyler. Also survived by sisters; Gerri (Ricky) Hatcher, Gwen (George) Wright, Roberta (Gene) Keel, and Terri Norris; brothers Ron Pierce and LeRoy (Karen) Rang; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She joins her sister Sharron, brother Gary, and her mother and father in Heaven. Patty will be missed by all who knew her. We will miss her special laugh and her smile. The family will be planning a celebration of life in the future.
