Marilyn D. Emery

Marilyn Delores Emery was born March 4, 1931, in West Fir, Ore. to Neva E. (Witsel) Marchant and Wilbur K. Marchant. After her Father’s death when she was 10 years old, she attended an all-girls Catholic School with her sister, Jean.

Marilyn Delores Emery was born March 4, 1931, in West Fir, Ore. to Neva E. (Witsel) Marchant and Wilbur K. Marchant. After her Father’s death when she was 10 years old, she attended an all-girls Catholic School with her sister, Jean. She later graduated from Lincoln High School in Portland, Ore.

On Dec. 7, 1952, she married Howard D. Emery. Soon after, they moved to Hoquiam, Wash. where she resided until her passing day on Oct. 31, 2017.

Marilyn, known to her family as “Memo” will be remembered for her kindness and love for her family. She was a hard worker, working as a young Mother at the Tip Top Drive Inn. After her daughter was five years old she worked at Speedy Wash in Hoquiam, where she worked for 40 years.

Marilyn was proceeded in death by her son Patrick Russel Emery. She is survived by her husband Howard at the family home; a son Mike and his wife Lori of Hoquiam, her daughter Pamela Erwin and husband Lee of Texas; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Marilyn was very fond of her special friend, Robin at Pacific Care.

There will be no service. A family gathering has been planned for a later date.
