Margaret W. Pfel

Margaret W. Pfel, 82, of Aberdeen, Washington, passed away June 3, 2023, in Burien, Washington. Margaret was born in the UK, July 6,1940.

She is survived by three daughters: Julie (Cliff) Beebe of Paris, Maine; Tammie (Ben) Gitchel of Aberdeen, Washington and Janet Redd of Aberdeen, Washington; and a son Robert Ball of Oregon. She has 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased in death by parents Joseph and Emily Aldridge of the UK, brother: Derek Aldridge of the UK and husband Melvin Pfel of Aberdeen.

Margaret was born and raised in England. She married her first husband and sailed across the ocean to America. In 1972, she became a citizen of the United States. She lived in Yakima until October of 1983, then moved to Aberdeen.

She loved to knit, do puzzles and garden. Most of all she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 29, 2023, at the American Legion in Aberdeen at 1 p.m. Let’s share stories of Margaret’s life together to remember a wonderful person together.
