Sturgill, Blackburn, Phillips, Rumbles

Patrick Sturgill

McCleary resident Patrick E. Sturgill died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017. He was 65.

A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.

Lydia J. Blackburn

Lydia Jean Blackburn of Aberdeen died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017, at home. She was 96.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 30, at the Taholah Community Center. She will be laid to rest at Taholah Cemetery. A reception will follow back at the Taholah Community Center.

Arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary of Aberdeen.

Harold A. Phillips

Harold Alfred Phillips, a longtime Harborite, died Monday, Oct. 23, 2017, at his East Hoquiam home. He was 80.

When he was 17 years of age he joined the U. S. Marine Corps. He skippered charter fishing boats out of Westport and Alaska and was the captain on various river boats for 18 years on the Colorado River and ocean going ships.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

William E. Rumbles

RAYMOND — William Elwood Rumbles, longtime Raymond resident, died Thursday, Oct.26, 2017, at home. He was 82.

He worked for Boeing, Powell & Seiler, and owned and operated Rumbles Accounting.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Lebam Community Chapel. A luncheon at the church will follow a private graveside service.

Arrangements are in care of Stoller’s Mortuary in Raymond.
