Dann J. Fassnacht

Hoquiam resident Dann Joseph Fassnacht died Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at his home. He was 62.

He had worked for Grays Harbor College for 23 years in parking and security enforcement.

An urn committal service is being planned and will be announced at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Edward Charles Jr.

TAHOLAH — Edward N. Charles Jr., an enrolled member of the Quinault Indian Nation and longtime resident of Taholah, died Thursday,May 25, 2017, at the Roger Saux Medical Clinic in Taholah. He was 70.

A candlelight service will be at 7 p.m. Sunday and an Indian Shaker service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, both at the Coleman Mortuary inHoquiam.

Karen S. Olson

OLYMPIA — Karen Sue Olson of Elma died Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia. She was 69.

Visitation will take place from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Elma followed by a funeral at 1. A committal service will follow at McCleary Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary of Montesano.

Marion Davis

MONTESANO — Marion A. Davis of Montesano died Thursday, May 31, 2017, at Montesano Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was 85.

A celebration of his life will take place at noon Friday, June 9, at the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Elma followed by a graveside service at 4 at the Satsop Cemetery.

Robert Cook

Robert H. Cook of Montesano died at his home Wednesday, May 31, 2017. He was 86.

Arrangements are pending through Harrison Family Mortuary of Montesano.

Marlin S. Ask

Visitation for Marlin Stanley Ask, who died May 25 in Tacoma, will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Saron Lutheran Church in Hoquiam. Following the committal service at Sunset Memorial Park in Hoquiam, there will be a gathering of family and friends back at the church.
