Michael Hart

Michael Robbin Hart, a longtime resident of Hoquiam, died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2023.

He lived all his life in Hoquiam except for the years he served in the U.S. Army. He then returned to Hoquiam where he worked at Major Line, Posey Manufacturing and finished his career working for the Port of Grays Harbor.

There was a private urn committal at Hoquiam Sunset Memorial Park.

A celebration of life gathering is being planned and when finalized a date will be announced.

Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Robert Tillman

Longtime Hoquiam resident Robert J. Tillman, 77, died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2023, at home.

He had worked for Quigg Brothers for many years.

A celebration of life is being planned and will be announced later.

Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Ronald B. Eckhardt

Ocean Shores resident Ronald Ben Eckhardt died Monday, Dec. 18, at Harbor Health Regional Hospital in Aberdeen. He was 89.

He worked in building management for many years.

Services will he held at a later date and will be announced when plans are finalized.

Arrangements are by Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Gail A. Martin

Former Grays Harbor resident Gail Allen Martin of Silverdale, died Thursday, Dec. 21, 2023, at home. He was 80.

He was raised in Hoquiam and Aberdeen, then moved to Seattle in 1957.

He and his wife, Barbara returned to Hoquiam in 1971 and he worked for E.C. miller Cedar Company, Major Line Cabinets, Oval Strapping, Hoquiam Plywood, Lambs Grays Harbor and TechWood in Shelton.

A service is being planned and will be announced later.

Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Richard ‘Wildeman’ W. Wilde Jr.

Moclips resident Richard “Wildeman” Wayne Wilde Jr., a former long and short haul trucker, died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2023, at home. He was 52.

A private family celebration will take place at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are by Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.
