Curt Thompson, a twelve year resident of Sun City, Arizona, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2022. He was 74.

Curt Thompson, a twelve year resident of Sun City, Arizona, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2022. He was 74.

He was born in Raymond, Washington on Feb. 23, 1947, to parents James M. and Shirley (Leber) Thompson. He attended Hoquiam High School, graduating with the class of 1965. In 1966, Curt married Lillian Polich. They later divorced. On Aug. 17, 2002, he married Tracy Bussabarger in Las Vegas, Nevada. She survives him at the family home in Sun City.

Curt worked as a sheet metal worker at Pryde Bros. of Hoquiam and numerous other sheet metal companies before retiring in 2007. He enjoyed going to car races and riding his motorcycle to the National Parks and even made his way to Sturgis, South Dakota. He also enjoyed going to outdoor concerts while living in Sun City.

Curt is survived by his wife, Tracy; son, Brian (Brittany) Thompson of Montesano; daughter, Carrie (Jason) Gueller of Wyoming; stepdaughter, Danielle Bussabarger; step great-grandchildren: Whisper and Scarlett Bussabarger and Tristan Wakefield; brothers, Scott (Kathy) Thompson of Montesano and Paul (Jodi) Thompson of Central Park and grandchildren: Taylor Thompson and Mitch and Tanner Gueller.
