US 12 Wishkah River Bridge to close Sunday morning for repairs

The Wishkah River Bridge in Aberdeen will be closed for about 4 1/2 hours on Sunday, April 28, for repairs, according to the state Department of Transportation.

Maintenance crews will close the bridge between 5:30 and 10 a.m. for repairs to the structure’s barrier gate arm. Drivers will follow a signed detour to the Highway 12 Heron Street Bridge.

This work is being performed early Sunday when traffic volumes are lower.
