Ruby is the perfect size. She loves people, but don’t let her fun-loving, affectionate personality fool you. She is going to be a PROJECT! She absolutely can’t stand other dogs. She herds and nips small children. Cats? Well, it’s pretty obvious it won’t be pretty. Go on, go look at her though. She is 1 year and 9 months old so she definitely has a chance, given time and structure, to become a good dog. She’s a small shepherd/husky mix who loves tennis balls and treats. She will need to be in a home where she is the only pet — you know, other than tropical fish or something like that. Ruby likes the sound of her own voice and when left alone, she likes to bark. That said, the payoff will be huge. She is 50 pounds of smartness and fun! Ruby is available for adoption through PAWS of Grays Harbor. They are open by appointment only at this time.
