Montesano looks to fill vacant council seat

There’s a vacancy on the Montesano City Council, Position 5 — most recently held by Megan Valentine.

The city is seeking candidates to fill the term through Dec. 31, 2023. The qualified candidate must be a registered voter, be over the age of 18 and have resided in the City of Montesano for more than one year. The City Council meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m.

Qualified candidates can submit a letter of interest and resume by 5 p.m. July 7 to CFO/City Clerk Arnel Blancas, 112 N. Main Street, Montesano, WA 98563.
