Christine Obermiller of Aberdeen won the raffle quilt in a drawing held on the last day of the fair. Hundreds of tickets were purchased. All proceeds go toward the group’s patriotic quilt program, in which quilts are made and presented to local veterans in appreciation for their service to our country.

For the group’s annual sewing challenge, the three winners (by popular vote) were Virginia Wallace, Siri Woods and Janice McClellan. Each received a monetary prize.

Willapa Harbor Quilters meet every Tuesday, with a few exceptions, at 11:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Raymond, 913 Duryea St. Meetings are open to visitors. For more information about the guild, call President Beth Gill at 360-660-0036.
