Wedding

Former Aberdeen resident Kelsey Furstenwerth married Randall McLeod on Sept. 8 at the Springwood Ranch in Thorp.

The bride graduated from Aberdeen High School in 2009 and Central Washington University in 2013. She is a college-bound regional officer for College Success Foundation in Yakima. She is the daughter of Dave and Teresa Furstenwerth of Aberdeen.

The groom graduated from Tahoma High School in 2010 and Central Washington University in 2014. He is a regional safety manager for Granite Construction in Selah. He is the son of Robert and Cheri McLeod of Maple Valley.

The outdoor wedding was conducted by the groom’s paternal grandfather. Their German pointer, Benelli, was in attendance. Wellington Wildcat, the CWU mascot, “crashed” the wedding reception.

The couple reside in Yakima on their 5-acre mini-farm.
