Brittney Stout of Bonney Lake and Bryce Ogren of Lakewood are engaged to be married Aug. 24 at Cedar Springs Wedding Venue in Port Orchard.

The groom-to-be graduated from Hoquiam High School and later Washington State University, where he earned a degree in kinesiology and education. He is the health and well-being director at the Lakewood YMCA. His parents are Lynn and John Ogren of Hoquiam.

The bride-to-be, daughter of Molly and Todd Stout of Bonney Lake, graduated from Emerald Ridge High School in Puyallup and earned a degree in music from the University of Washington. She is the administrative assistant at Cascade Helicopter Service.
