JOHN JONES PHOTO Several sleek new Gulfstream jets were spotted at Bowerman Airport in Hoquiam Sunday. John Jones snapped this photo of the Gulfstream N650GD from Beacon Hill Sunday. Los Angeles-based Three Delta Fox production company contacted the Port several weeks ago about using the airport; “They liked the terrain around Bowerman and felt it would allow for some good footage,” said Port Business and Trade Development Assistant Shannon Anderson. “I spoke with the producer, Tom Lowe, (Monday) and they were very pleased with the airport and our facilities and will be calling again for future projects.” The pictured Gulfstream seats 22 passengers and is powered by two Rolls-Royce BR700 series turbo-fan engines that supply 14,750 pounds of thrust.
