Raymond’s Anderson named Pacific League co-MVP

After leading his team in several statistical categories, Raymond senior guard Morgan Anderson was named the one of the 2B Pacific League’s Most Valuable Players for the 2022-23 season.

Anderson was one of the league’s scoring leaders with 20.7 points per game and led the Seagulls with 7.1 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 2.2 assists per game in a season in which he also surpassed 1,000 points for his career.

Anderson shared MVP honors with Ilwaco junior Beckett Turner.

Ocosta senior forward Xander Prigmore was named to the league’s First Team by leading the third-place Wildcats with 13.9 points to go along with 5.8 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game this season.

Ilwaco senior Josh Figueroa and Raymond senior Skyler Hutson were both named to the 2B Pacific All-League Second Team.

South Bend won the league’s Sportsmanship Award.
