Raymond cruised to its fourth league win of the season with a 69-17 victory over North Beach on Wednesday in Raymond.

The Seagulls (7-4 overall, 4-2 2B Pacific) led 18-8 after the first quarter and held a commanding 43-14 lead at the half.

Raymond held North Beach (1-8, 0-4) to just three points in the second half as the Hyaks went scoreless in the fourth quarter.

Super sophomore Karsyn Freeman scored 23 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and had four steals to lead the Seagulls.

Paige Williams scored 14 points and Kyndal Koski added 12 for a Seagulls offense that collected 23 steals as a team.

“Good energy tonight by our kids,” Raymond head coach Jason Koski said. “You could really tell they were tired of practicing and ready to compete tonight. Lots of good contributions from all nine players.”

North Beach was led by sophomore guard Katana Capoeman with six points.

The Hyaks will play at South Bend at 7 p.m. Friday.

Raymond hosts Elma in a non-league match at 6 p.m. on Thursday.
