Three Bobcats named to all-EvCo 2A golf teams

Aberdeen had three players earn first-team honors when the Evergreen 2A Conference All-League team was announced recently.

Aberdeen’s Mari Rabung averaged 47 strokes this season to earn first team honors along with teammates Haley Farrer, 49, and MacKayla Waltee, 52.

The Bobcats were also represented on the second team by Kate Slyter, who averaged 53 strokes, and Emily May, who averaged 56.

Black Hills’ Mckenna Canty was named the league Most Valuable Player with a 41 stroke average.

Bulldogs honored on all-Evergreen 1A girls tennis teams

Montesano’s Rachel Ayres earned second team honors when the Southwest Washington 1A All-League tennis team was announced recently.

Bailee Wallace of Three Rivers Christian was named the singles Most Valuable Player for the league, while Olivia Cathcart and Hannah Cathcart of Three Rivers Christian were named the doubles MVPs.

Montesano’s Danika Peterson and Alexa Couch received honorable mention honors as a doubles team.

Ayres, Peterson, Sophie Barre and Hannah Kloempken were all named to the All-Academic team.
