Sharon Eileen Eager of Aberdeen, Washington, passed away on March 2nd, 2024, at the age of 86.

Sharon Eileen Eager of Aberdeen, Washington, passed away on March 2nd, 2024, at the age of 86.

Sharon was born on December 8th, 1937 in Hoquiam, Washington, to parents George John Sturm and Lovella Stella Rice Sturm. Sharon attended Weatherwax High School in Aberdeen and graduated in 1956.

Sharon worked for the Cosmopolis School District for over 25 years. She was also employed at Twin Harbors Credit Union for 2 years. She was a very active volunteer at the Clothing Bank of Grays Harbor and at the Aberdeen Museum of History, as well. Sharon loved square dancing and danced as often as she could. She also loved quilting, reading, and spending time with her beloved children and grandchildren.

Sharon is preceded in death by her brothers Ronald Sturm, Merle “Bucky” Sturm, and Jack Sturm.

Sharon is survived by her beloved husband, Byron Eager of Cosmopolis, Washington; son, David Eager of Poulsbo, Washington; daughters Teresa (Bob) Barnes of Silverdale, Washington, and Vickie (Tom) Pfeifer of Cocolalla, Idaho; sister Barbara Peters of Aberdeen, Washington; grandchildren Kevin (Rhiannon) Pfeifer of Anaconda, Montana; Dan Pfeifer of Sandpoint, Idaho; Matt (Lindsay) Pfeifer of Grand Junction, Colorado and Kelsey Barnes of Shelton, Washington; and great-grandchildren Oliver Pfeifer, Rosemary Pfeifer, Ingram Swimley, and Scout Swimley.

At her request, no formal services will be held.
