Richard “Rick” Newkirk Reiter passed away on June 29, 2023. Rick was born on Nov. 1, 1946 to Vernon Reiter and Ann Vasbeinder in Aberdeen, Washington. Rick grew up in Central Park and lived in Aberdeen his whole life.

Rick served in the United States Army for 4 years and spent 2 years in Vietnam. He worked for F.G. Peterson Trucking for 15 years and also worked for Don L Entus Road Construction for 15 years. On Jan. 20th, 1984, Rick married Dianne Moser in Aberdeen. Rick enjoyed selling his scrap metal, peeling wire and going to auctions.

Rick is preceded in death by his parents and one brother. He is survived by his wife, Dianne Reiter who resides at the family home, three children, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
