Richard Carl Redner II, age 39, passed away suddenly from a heart attack on October 18, 2023 while hunting in Central Washington. He has been a resident of Grays Harbor Washington for twenty one years. In 2014 he married Sunnie Rae (Petrich) Redner and was the father to twin boys, Hayden and Hudson, age 8.

Richard was born January 5, 1984 in Pendleton, Oregon to parents Vicki L. (Bronson) Redner and Richard W. Redner. He graduated from Lost River High School in Merrill, Oregon in 2002. Richard was a star athlete in school and was a baseball All Star multiple years. His true passion was basketball where he frequently played as a starter. Since graduation Richard made his career with Safeway working as a Meat Cutter and Department Manager in various stores (Aberdeen, Chehalis, Olympia and Centralia). He also worked for Harbor Pacific Bottling and L & E Bottling for a short period of time.

When he wasn’t working Richard enjoyed hiking, camping, golfing and playing basketball with his sons. He loved spending time in his shop woodworking and tinkering on his Samurai. Richard had a love for cars that he passed on to his two boys. Nothing made him happier than watching his sons play sports.

Richard is preceded in death by his mother and beloved grandparents, Richard Carl and Aleta Corene Redner as well as David and Linda Bronson. He is survived by his wife and twin boys, father Richard W. Redner (Elaine), sister Ashley Bronson (Donny Hernandez) and brother Travis Bronson.

There will be a Celebration of Life for friends and family at the Cosmopolis Lions Club on Saturday, November 11, at 1 p.m.
