Nellie Jane (Gruginski) Hartman-Floetke passed away peacefully at home Sept. 19, 2020.

Nellie Jane (Gruginski) Hartman-Floetke passed away peacefully at home Sept. 19, 2020. Nellie was born to Anthony and Anelia Gruginski in 1928 and had 12 brothers and sisters. Nellie graduated from South Bend High School in 1946 and later married Lester Hartman. Together they had three children: Janice, Karen and Ronald. Nellie was a longtime resident of Grays Harbor and enjoyed supporting the local sports teams there. She worked at Pacific Northwest Bell until her retirement in 1982.

Nellie and Lester were married until his passing in 1994. In 2000, Nellie married Arthur “Frank” Floetke and moved to Tumwater. Nellie loved watching the Mariners and the Seahawks as well as her frequent trips to casinos where “she always won.”

Nellie is survived by her three children: Janice (Lamb), Karen and Ronald; three grandchildren: Erik, Quinton and Tori; two great-grandchildren: Brady and Brandy: three great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Frank brought adult children Jackie, Judy, Brian, and grandchildren Iva and Ben to the marriage.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, at the Fern Hill Cemetery in Lebam. Arrangements are in care of Stoller’s Mortuary in Raymond, Washington. You may visit www.StollersMortuary.com to leave condolences for the family.
