Nancy Lee (Guintoli) Griffin passed away in San Antonio, Texas, March 4, 2021, leaving behind her husband of 58 years, Royal K. Griffin; her children Dr. Kevin Griffin and Nora Griffin; her brother Ron Guintoli, and her grandchildren Kira, Eric, Luke and Kate. She also leaves behind many lovely cousins. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents Bruno and Mary Giuntoli, brother Robert (Bob) and sister Betty.

Nancy was born on March 1, 1938, in Aberdeen, Washington, graduating from Weatherwax High School in 1956. She earned her AS degree at Grays Harbor College in 1958 and finished her education at the University of Chicago in 1960 with a degree in physical therapy.

Nancy served her nation as a lieutenant in the USAF, using her skills as a physical therapist. After leaving the service, she worked tirelessly with distinction in this field until her retirement.

Nancy was kind, gentle and loving. Her greatest fault was a poor sense of direction. She was the best mother any child could want. Nancy was a lover of the outdoors. She hiked and canoed most of central Texas. Later in life she endured Alzheimer’s disease with grace, sorrow and courage. She will always be cherished. Nancy is now at rest with God.
