Melody A. Clark, age 54, passed away peacefully Dec. 1, 2018, at Pacific Care Center in Aberdeen, Wash. She was born April 20, 1964, in Omaha, Neb. to LeRoy and Katherine (Mendenhall) Mills.

She worked as a USPS driver for many years.

Melody truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures – chatting with friends and family and spending time with her son Jonathon Mills and stepson Michael Vanlohuizen.

She is survived by her partner Steve Vanlohuizen; son Jonathon Mills; stepson Michael Vanlohuizen; brother Terry Mills and sisters Johnetta Nunez, Karen Rowe, Candy Lloyd and Sharon Wiggins. She was preceded in death by sister Cindy Mills and both parents.

There will be a private service held for Melody. A potluck celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. on Dec. 15 at the Econo Lodge Inn & Suites, 910 Simpson Ave., Hoquiam. Bring your own bottle; soda and water will be available.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to PAWS of Grays Harbor or Christmas for Kids.
