Matthew Vernon Price, age 51, a resident of Neilton, died on Nov. 12, 2021. Matthew was born on October 6, 1970, in Youngstown, Ohio to Guy Michael and Brenda Marlene (Anderson) Price.

He was raised on the Harbor and had attended schools in Aberdeen and Hoquiam. Early in life, he had been in a farming accident causing an early retirement due to disability. He had enjoyed clam digging and fishing.

Surviving relatives include his father, Guy Michael Price of Aberdeen; a son, Matthew Michael Price and his mother, Roberta Falkner of Alaska; a brother, Mark A. Price of Aberdeen and a sister, Felicia Gillam of North Bonneville, Washington. His mother Brenda and a brother, Guy Michael Jr. died previously.

A celebration of life will be held later in 2022 and will be announced in a later edition of The Daily World.

Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
