Lola Davis, age 87, a resident of Elma, Washington, passed away on Aug. 14, 2021. Lola was born in Buffalo, New York on May 17, 1934.

She moved to the Bay Area of California with her family as a young child. She met and married her high school sweetheart, Victor Davis. They were married for 68 years.

They raised a family in San Jose, California and eventually moved to Seattle, Washington when her husband took a transfer for work. After retiring, Vic and Lola moved to Elma.

She made many friends in the area and was an active member of Shaffer Meadows Fiber Guild. She enjoyed painting, sewing, knitting and spinning yarn, and she won many awards for her creations.

Lola is survived by her husband, Victor; her children, Robin, Susan, Marc and Scott; sons-in-law Gary and Paul; daughters-in-law Oona and Maraye and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Lola’s life will be held on Tuesday Aug. 24, 2021, at 10 a.m. in the chapel at Coleman Mortuary, 422 Fifth Street, Hoquiam, followed by a graveside service at the Satsop Cemetery in Satsop, Washington.
