Linda Suzanne Stutzenburg of Hoquiam passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital.

Linda Suzanne Stutzenburg of Hoquiam passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital. She was 68. Linda was born on March 2, 1950, to Alfred and Eleanor (DeWolfe) Nadeau in Upton, Mass. Eight years later the family settled in the Grays Harbor area. Linda went on to graduate from Weatherwax High School in 1969.

On June 29, 1968, Linda married Michael Smith. They later divorced in 1988. She then met Robert Stutzenburg and married him on May 14, 1999, in Aberdeen, Wash. They spent many loving years of marriage together before his passing in May of 2009.

In Linda’s younger years she participated in several bowling leagues. She also enjoyed a good game of darts or pool. As the years went on her interests shifted to her community. Linda became employed by The Hoquiam Senior Citizen Center. There she was an assistant cook and bingo manager. She also held the treasurer seat on their Board of Directors for many years. Though she officially retired in 2013, Linda still enjoyed attending bingo and various activities at the center.

Linda is survived by her son Stewart Smith of Lincoln, Neb.; daughters Kimberly (Kenneth) Daniels of Aberdeen, Wash. and Roxanne (Mike) Warren of Modesto, Calif.; brother David Nadeau of Vancouver, Wash. and Les (Deanna) Blumberg of Hoquiam, Wash.; sister Ellen (Gary) Taylor of Yakima, Wash.; aunt Carol (Bob) Evans; uncle Russell (Harriet) DeWolfe; grandchildren Aaron (Alli) Daniels, Jason Daniels, and Colby Daniels; great-grandchildren Kody Jo Daniels and Kameryn Daniels; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert and parents Alfred and Eleanor Nadeau.
