Lillian Ellen Cooper passed away on January 30, 2024. Lillian was born on January 28, 1932, to Edward W. and Katherine Huebner Bickel in Pollock, South Dakota. She was raised in Pollock, but then later moved to Washington and graduated from Yakima High School (1951).

On November 26, 1952, Lillian married Robert Donald Cooper in Anchorage, Alaska. Lillian was a Licensed Practical Nurse in Ellensburg before she moved to Westport, Washington. She was the owner of Whale of a Cone Ice Cream Shop in Westport for 36 years and retired in 2022. She was a part of Coastal Community Church in Westport and the Chestnut Street Baptist Church in Ellensburg, Washington. She loved gardening and greeting people at her ice cream shop.

Lillian was preceded in death by her husband Robert Donald Cooper, parents Edward W. and Katherine Huebner Bickel, brother Herbert Bickel, sister Ruby Bickel, and grandchild Jeremy Cooper. She is survived by her sons Andrew B. Cooper of Westport, David (Sue) Cooper of Redmond and John W. (Joanne) Cooper of Marysville; daughter Jeanene E. Cooper of Westport; 6 grandchildren: Joshua, Jason, Jessica, Brian, Kevin, and Robin; and 6 great-grandchildren: Candace, Lilyin, Zaine, Scarlett, Emmett, and Sofia.
