Born Katie Lee Childress on April 1, 1921, in Hoquiam, Washington, she grew up in Hoquiam and married Everett R. Glenn at his family home in Brady, Washington on Oct. 4, 1940.

She is survived by her son, Edwin Glenn and family of Seattle and daughter, Mary Glenn and family of Tacoma. She also leaves behind six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren with an eighth due in late March.

Her sons, Mikel and Jerry Lee; a grandson, Shaun; and two great-granddaughters preceded her in death.

She will be laid to rest on April 1, at 3 p.m. at the Satsop Cemetery on what would have been her 101st birthday.
