John was born in Aberdeen, Washington to John and Billie Bernita Salick.

He is survived by his wife Carol Harth Salick of 51 years, son John W. Salick Jr., grandson Johnny Dash Salick , brother Richard W Salick, sisters Lesli D. Salick Martin and Vick Ann Salick; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was a member of Oldtimers Northwest, Goodguys Rod & Custom Association.

A service will be held at Harrison Family Mortuary at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, followed by a graveside service at Fern Hill Cemetery in Aberdeen. A celebration of life will be held in Spring of 2022 date on a date to be determined.
