Janet has decided to leave us on Nov. 3, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, Washington.

Janet was born Dec. 31, 1956 to Lillian Cofield and Roger Bjorke in McCleary, Washington. Janet grew up and went to Elma High School and loved to play tennis. After working for Weyerhaeuser for 28 years as payroll, she retired.

Janet enjoyed spending her retirement spending time with her kids and working on her new home. She enjoyed having barbecue get-togethers and working on puzzles.

She is preceded in death by her mother Lillian Cofield, brother Herbert Vessey and sister Nellie Pullar. She is survived by her children Joseph Lutes and Janell Arneson, brother Joe and Debbie Vessey; and sister Betty and Chuck Kullander.

A celebration of life will be held on Jan. 22, 2022 at 12 p.m. at the Elma Eagles Club, 404 W. Young Elma, Washington.
