James Warren Meek, a Raymond resident, passed away Friday, November 6, 2020, at the Willapa Harbor Care Center in Raymond. He was 85. James was born April 27, 1935, to Alfred T. And Florence (Chapman) Meek in South Bend, Washington.

James worked as a Raymond garbage man, then as a fork lift operator for Weyerhaeuser. He also attended Raymond High School. On August 18, 1966, he married Martha Ann (Lundsford) Meek in Chehalis.

He is survived by his wife Martha at the family home, sons Jerry Meek of Buckley, Washington, Tony Meek of El Paso, Texas, his daughter Ileen De Los Reyes of Wheatland, California, his brother Alfred Meek of Raymond, Washington, and by three grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his sister Dorothy (Meek) Rogers and by his parents.

A family gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lebam Community Church at P.O. Box 188, Lebam, WA 98554.
