Harry Lee Anderson was born on March 24, 1943, in Ashtabula, Ohio to Harry A. Anderson and Francis C. Anderson (Murray). He passed away peacefully at his home in Montesano, Washington on Oct. 1, 2022, at the age of 79.

Harry married the love of his life, Shirley, on Aug. 5, 1972. Harry and Shirley had just celebrated their 50th anniversary.

Harry was a mechanic all of his life. He owned his own shop in Oracle, Arizona before moving to Washington. He last worked for Quigg Bros. for 18 years. He retired as a shop foreman in September of 2006. Harry enjoyed his job and the people he worked with. Harry was a hard worker and kindhearted. He always made himself available to help out family, friends and even strangers, if they were in need. Harry also volunteered with the Grays Harbor Search and Rescue for several years.

Harry is survived by his wife, Shirley; his son, Andy Anderson (Tanya); and his daughters, Jacque Frias (Joe), Debbie Collins (Albert), Dianna Malone (Gary) and Brenda Studer (Mark). Harry left behind 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

A service will be held for Harry at Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam, on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022, at 2:30 p.m. Thereafter, a celebration of life will be held at the Cornerstone Church (Fire Side Room) 2008 Sumner Avenue in Aberdeen.
